My husband and I are in...i live in middle America. My husband and I are in our 70's and we have been self isolating for about 2 weeks. We only go out to the grocery store which has the most wonderful new program. One orders food on line, pays by credit card, and is given an assigned pickup date. One just pulls into a pickup area, phones a special number for the store and they bring your groceries out. <br />This is wonderful but in middle America, people are more conservative and religious. One hears such things as "god will provide" or "we don't have any corona cases here because we don't have any Chinese residents"<br />It is generally a huge mess. Children are no longer attending schools but they treat it like summer vacation. People are going to restaurants, parties, bars, whatever. So much contradictory info comes from Washington-every gets a test, nobody needs a test. We have a cure, we will have a cure soon. On and on. I don't listen to it. We just follow our own protocols. We are natural introverts so it is no problem for us. I know it is for others. I have noticed that most the older quilters I have blogged with also are self isolating.
